System manufacturers and designers cannot guarantee, nor is it practical to expect, 100 percent coverage. Achieving complete coverage in any city is impossible, as there will always be areas, such as certain corners of buildings, where a radio system may not reach. The issue of no coverage in a trunked system is significantly different from that in a simplex area; in a trunked system, no coverage equates to no communication. The Kingtone VHF Trunk Amplifier enhances both uplink and downlink signals, improves voice quality, effectively addresses blind spots in base station signal coverage, and extends overall coverage. It is primarily designed to compensate for signal loss in the trunk cable of indoor distribution systems and wireless access indoor distribution systems.
