This wireless band-selective BDA amplifies and filters desired carriers in both uplink and downlink directions. Equipped with an FPGA-based high-performance band-selective digital filter, high linearity and efficient power amplifiers, and a robust operating and maintenance system, the BDA provides a powerful and economical solution for improving BTS coverage. Typical application scenarios include tunnels, buildings, subways, and outdoor environments such as stadiums, rural areas, and dense urban regions.
It is well-known that communication systems in buildings often fall short of expectations, particularly in multi-story structures where signal coverage can be inconsistent. In emergency situations, this lack of reliable communication can be critical for both first responders and building occupants.
Radio enhancement systems typically consist of three key components: DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), BDA (Bi-Directional Amplifiers), and donor antennas. Donor antennas capture incoming signals from outside the building, while BDAs amplify and strengthen the connection. DAS then ensures the signal is evenly distributed across the entire area.
